Learn how to communicate expectations, coach effectively, motivate different personalities, give feedback and have the difficult conversations that managers often avoid for too long. The aim is a team that becomes increasingly responsible for its own performance.
Delegate with clarity, create genuine accountability and manage performance without micromanaging. Build a business where people understand what they own and are trusted and expected to deliver it — without constant involvement from you.

How it works
Full-day, in-person sessions at The Loft @ The Barn Hotel, Meriden, Coventry with both Laura and Michael. Deep-dive leadership development, peer connection and focused time away from your day-to-day environment. 9:30am – 4:30pm.
Four 90-minute online sessions between the face-to-face days. Practical, focused and designed to build on what you have implemented since the previous session — maintaining momentum throughout the eight months.

Why Laura & Michael
This programme is built on 50 years of combined dental leadership experience. Laura and Michael are both GDC registered and have spent their careers working inside dental businesses as well as supporting them from the outside. Their work has never been about theory alone. You are not learning from people who only teach leadership. You are learning from two people who have spent decades doing it, teaching it and helping others implement it.
Laura's career has taken her from dental nurse to Treatment Coordinator, Practice Manager and dual-site Practice Manager, before moving into consultancy, practice ownership and ultimately a successful practice exit.
Michael's career has taken him from dental business management into dental nursing, consultancy and back into hands-on business management and Treatment Coordination in practice, before returning to consultancy.
Together, Laura and Michael have worked for around 12 years helping dental business owners, managers and leadership teams develop stronger businesses, clearer strategies and more effective teams. They have delivered leadership and management development for years, supported practices through Vision Days, built 12-month business strategies and stayed involved through implementation. Both are GDC registered. Both are former Treatment Coordinators. Both are involved throughout every session of the eight-month programme.

Yes. This is not an introduction to management. It is specifically designed for people who are already leading and who want to build significantly stronger leadership capability across all four pillars.
Absolutely. Many dental business owners carry substantial management responsibility alongside clinical work or ownership. The programme gives you the skills and frameworks to lead your team and business more effectively.
Yes. Both Laura and Michael are directly involved throughout the entire eight months. You are not accessing online content or occasional guest trainers. You have direct access to two experienced dental business leaders from start to finish.
The programme alternates between four face-to-face leadership days in Solihull and four online 90-minute sessions — one development touchpoint every month from March to October 2027. The format is designed so you learn, implement, reflect and develop further throughout the eight months.
All four face-to-face leadership days are held at The Loft @ The Barn Hotel, Berryfields Farm, Berkswell Rd, Meriden, Coventry CV7 7LB. Sessions run from 9:30am to 4:30pm.
